Becca Carter Freeman (she/her) is an actor, writer, and intimacy coordinator raised in Seoul, Korea and is currently based in NYC. She is a current MFA candidate at NYU for Dramatic Writing and holds a BFA in Theatre Arts from Boston University. She is an alumna of Interlochen Arts Academy, the Atlantic Acting School, and is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, as well as, associated with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators. 

Her writing has won awards from The Kennedy Center, Fusion Film Festival, National Playwright’s Conference, and Screencraft Competition. She has developed work at The Tank, The Public Theatre, Brooklyn Art Haus, The Chain, The American Opera Project, The Wild Project, Adult Film, Boston Lyric Opera, Southern Plains Productions, Staten Island Shakespearean Company, and the Lin Manuel Miranda Fellowship.
