Becca Carter Freeman (she/her) is an actor, writer, and intimacy coordinator raised in Seoul, Korea and is currently based in NYC.
WRITING: Where Do Peaches Grow? (Kennedy Center's National Undergraduate Playwriting Award, first place. David Mark Cohen Award, second place. National Playwrights Conference at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre, semi-finalist. Screencraft Stage Play, quarter-finalist) The Living Orchid: The Isabella Stewart Gardner Play (The Tank), Meet Me in Five (Brooklyn Art Haus/O’Neill semi-finalist). Her plays have been done in nightclubs, parks, and boxing rings.
ACTING: Amina in Dance Nation (Southern Plains Productions), The Handmaid’s Tale (Anne Bogart), and Emilia in The Winter’s Tale (Staten Island Shakespearean Project.)
INTIMACY COORDINATION: The Lin Manuel Miranda Fellowship, HBO, Adult Film+, and The Wild Project.
She is a current MFA candidate at NYU for dramatic writing and holds a BFA in Theatre Arts from Boston University. She is an alumna of Interlochen Arts Academy, the Atlantic Acting School, and is a member of the Dramatists Guild of America, as well as, associated with Intimacy Directors and Coordinators.
